ABOUT THE AUTHOR
KD McQuain is from Manhattan’s Lower East Side where he grew up in the burgeoning
Hardcore Punk scene. He has been an avid reader of Fantasy and Science Fiction
since childhood and always kept a paperback in the cargo pocket of his fatigues. He
received a BFA in sculpture from Alfred University where he studied glass blowing and
neon. After graduating, he worked in the neon industry for several years before starting
an independent record label, Skully Records, which became known for several popular
Gothabilly and Rockabilly compilations. He now lives in Virginia with his family and a
menagerie of loving, but continuously underfoot animals.
